oooh…Pop Filter

December 1st, 2009

Yours truly will be going to michael's tomorrow--unless she can rummage on her floor and find one--to get a embroidery hoop. Luckily I have tons of pantyhose that I don't wear (sorry mom). Wondering what those two things have in common...why they are becoming my "pop filter." Special thanks to Sally for suggesting it, as I was wondering how to get rid of those PPPPAAAAs all through the 'cast. My other solution was never saying Alpaca again--and I love al-PPPPAAA-ca. Assuming I get it made tomorrow (along with my super spiffy gift for my in-laws), you may have a PPPPAAA free podcast soon!

Thanks to all the new subscribers!!!

Okay, honestly the links aren't ready...but I thought I'd link my cranberry sauce recipe to make sure you got it in time to get cranberries...and wine. Seriously...step away from the can.

Episode 5: Strings and Things

November 24th, 2009

In this episode, I'll discuss the early evidence of string, including the oh-so-attractive string skirts. We'll also talk about why a king couldn't stop the sea, why lifelines are the best things ever, why "no, I can't just knit loosely", why you should read When Bad Things Happen to Good Knitters, why you should go to anysoldier.com, and why I'm out $10. Music by Josh Hollis.

Thanks to all the new subscribers...and to Peace Cat for the comment!  THANK YOU!
